Liska was voted Fan of the month by Zak Brown Band - here is a copy of the post:
Hey Y'all... T Bird here,

Our April 2010 Fan Club Member of the Month is not only a Fan Club Member Zak Brown Band Facebook Fan page and a Street Team member, but she recently brought a unique experience to one of our guests at our show in Salem, OR. Her name is Liska and she is an excited Fan Club Member, but is also an interpreter for the deaf.
While signing up the Street Team Volunteers for Salem, OR, I came across Liska. She is a Fan Club Member, a Street Team Volunteer and an interpreter for the deaf. Liska didn’t mention her talents to me until a week into her Street Team duties. She very discretely asked me if the show would be interpreted. Even though we had discussed it as a team, we had never made the necessary steps towards making that service available. As soon as I showed a glimpse of interest, Liska started pursuing. On the day of the show, Liska showed up early with every single song printed out and laminated. She had her own stool and stand along with her own in-ear monitor. She was incredibly prepared. Once the show started, and Liska went to work, I felt the incredible passion that Liska portrays while delivering the gift of a live concert to hearing impaired people. Please join us in congratulating Liska for being our April 2010 Fan Club Member of the Month. If not for Liska, a few less people would have enjoyed the concert that night. What an incredible gift to give someone!!
