Educational Interpreter Needed in Jakarta Indonesia: August-June 2010/2011 School Year

On an annual basis, our family hires a qualified & experienced educational interpreter who is also attracted to the adventure of living & working overseas.  This exciting position provides educational interpreting for our 13 year old deaf son who is attends a large and exciting international school that uses English as the language of instruction. This position is for the term August 2010 through June 2011.

Although the salary is not commensurate to that received in the U.S.A., we provide your own private housing,  flights, visas’ fees, and medical health insurance from the USA, thus making it possible to enjoy life and travel within this fascinating country. 

Candidates must have a sense of adventure, are confident but flexible, and able to work with a high degree of independence.  An ability to work with a team of professional teachers is a must.  We seek those who have excellent interpreting skills, are dedicated to their profession, and ideally have had experience working with middle school aged deaf children.  Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.
